Record The folowing: Time to load and unload part 2 sec Time to clamp and unclamp part 1 sec Ram cutting speed 840 in/min Ram return speed 1680 in/min Length of ram stroke 15 in
Calculate the following: Load + Clamp + Unclamp + Unload 3.0 sec Cutting Time = (15 in/840 in/min) x 60 sec/min 1.1 sec Return Time = (15 in/1680 in/min) x 60 sec/min 0.5 sec Machine Cycle Time= 4.6 sec
Determine parts/hour at 85% Efficency:
(60 min/hr)x(60 sec/min)x(85%efficiency) Rate= _______________________________ =665.2 PARTS (4.6 sec/cycle)
